Cherry strudel

sour cream (dough)

plain flour (roux)
100 g
lard (roux)
350 g
cherries (1 strudel stuffing)
sugar (1 strudel stuffing)


Mix all the ingredients for the dough thoroughly. Roll the dough into 3 cm Thick Square and then top with a roux. Roux: a melted lard mix with flour. The dough with roux coiled like a roll in the refrigerator and let stand for about 15 minutes.
On a floured pastry board divided into 2 parts, each sheeted thinly. We cut into 7-8 cm wide strips. Cherries lay out the edge strips and sprinkle with sugar. Curls and stripes along the baking dish we create a spiral. (See the video!)
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
When cool, slice and serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.
